Practice in the writing of the ancient runic texts is possible by means of
the proposed virtual runic keyboard. The keyboard layout is made in the order of
the letters of the runic alphabet
conventionally called "Futhark" ("fuþark" — the first six letters of the runic
alphabet). The arrangement of runes is consecutive in three rows by the number
of genera (ettir). The runic layout is duplicated by the layout of Latin and
Cyrillic letters that phonetically coincide in sound with the runic ones. To
